Dr. Wencie Powell is a dynamic and transformative leader in Litigation Finance whose influence extends beyond corporate spaces into the heart of communities. Hailing from Moss Point, MS, she now resides in South Florida and Oklahoma. A proud alumna of Jackson State University, she also holds a Financial Markets Certificate from Yale University.

As the CEO and founder of The PowellR of Love, Inc., a nonprofit organization, Dr. Powell uplifts communities, fosters inclusivity, and collaborates with other community-oriented organizations to serve as a catalyst for meaningful impact. Her unwavering dedication to service and excellence earned her an honorary doctorate in Humanities.

A passionate advocate for youth mentorship and women’s empowerment, Dr. Powell serves on the Executive Boards of Destiny’s Elite Girls, Inc., where she fosters leadership development in young women, and the Broward Sickle Cell Association. She also serves as President of the BPAQ within the Moss Point Alumni Association School District and as a Community Ambassador for We Are Moss Point, Inc., standing as a pillar of leadership in both her local and broader communities.
